Completed Essex Chariots (Finally)

At long last (13 years) I have completed two more of my long-abandoned  Essex 15mm Celtic war chariots...

As always, I used the Army Painter with subtle dry brushing afterwards which I think looks about right given my limited painting skills.

This represents about half my DBA stuff finished now, which along with Ambush Alley, Warlord tinkering, 10mm Pendraken Normans and 6mm Baccus  for Warmaster Ancients, keep me pretty busy; no wonder I'm getting nowhere with it all!

Well, that's it for now - there will be more to follow - so  best wishes for now,

Monty

  2. These are great! I particularly like your unique basing style. It kind of gives the figures a comic book feel or like something out of the Julius Caesar Ladybird Book that we all had.

  3. Thanks chaps - very kind comments.

I must admit, Consul,I am always trying to evolve my bases, trying to do something different each time; often with mixed results!
